Taipei 101 is a 101-floor landmark skyscraper located in Taipei City, Taiwan . Designed by C.Y. Lee & Partners and constructed by KTRT Joint Venture, it is the tallest building in the world by three of the four standards designated by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat.

Sears Tower   442 meters (1,451 feet)

The Sears Tower is a skyscraper in Chicago, Illinois, and the tallest building in the United States. Commissioned by Sears, Roebuck and Company, it was designed by chief architect Bruce Graham and structural engineer Fazlur Khan of Skidmore, Owings, & Merrill.

Jin Mao Building   421 meters (1,380 feet)

The Jin Mao Building or Jin Mao Tower is an 88-story landmark skyscraper in the Lujiazui area of the Pudong district of Shanghai, People's Republic of China. It contains offices and the Shanghai Grand Hyatt hotel. As of 2005, it is the tallest building in the PRC, the fifth tallest in the world by roof height and the seventh tallest by pinnacle height.

CITIC Plaza   391 meters (1,283 feet)

CITIC Plaza is an 80-story high-rise building or skyscraper built in Guangzhou, People's Republic of China. Its structural height is 391 m including two tall antenna-like spires on the top. When it was completed in 1997, it was the tallest building in the world outside of New York and Chicago, thus the tallest building in China and Asia.

Shun Hing Square   384 meters (1,260 feet)

Shun Hing Square is a tall high-rise building or skyscraper in Shenzhen, China. Its structural height is 384 m and has 69 stories. It was completed in 1996 and for one year, it was the tallest building in China until Guangzhou's CITIC Plaza was completed. It now ranks fourth in China and eighth worldwide in the high-rise ranking.

The Empire State Building is a 102-story contemporary Art Deco style building in New York City, declared by the American Society of Civil Engineers to be one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. Designed by Shreve, Lamb and Harmon, it was finished in 1931. The tower takes its name from the nickname of New York State.

Central Plaza , located in Wan Chai, is the second tallest skyscraper in Hong Kong. With a height of 374 m, Central Plaza is only surpassed by 2 IFC in Central. It used to be the tallest building in Asia from 1992 to 1996, until the Shun Hing Square in Shenzhen, People's Republic of China, was built.
